1.      General

By using the Tron 365 Plan, Customers acknowledge that they understand the terms and conditions herein as well as the All General Terms and Conditions which stated on Tron’s website at www.tron.com.my, and agree to abide by them.

This service is provided on an “as is” basis and Tron does not guarantee or warrant that there shall be no problems, defects or errors in the usage provided by this subscription and/or its offers. Tron shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever for the loss incurred directly or indirectly for such failure or any problems associated to the network in any way whatsoever.

Tron reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions of Tron 365, including but not limited to any feature for this Tron 365 from time to time without prior notice to the Customers as it deems fit. Continued use of this subscription and/or service following any changes to these terms and conditions constitutes an acceptance to those changes (if any). Customers are advised to visit this page periodically to review the terms and conditions.

2.      Free 250min Monthly (On-net Call)

2.1.   Definition for ‘On-net Call’ is referring to same service provider call.

2.2.   Free 250min Monthly (On-net Call) is offered on promotional basis and Tron reserves the right to revise any product offer without any prior communication to and consent of Customers.

2.3.   Subscriber is entitle for 250 minutes free on-net call on each month.

2.4.   The customer must remain his/her Tron account in Active status in order to use the 250 minutes Free Call.

2.5.   Each 250 minutes Free Call is valid for one (1) month calendar days upon credited.

2.6.   The balance free calls which is not utilized within stipulated timeframe will be forfeited automatically without notice. No carrying forward of the unutilized quota of 250 minutes Free Call is allowed.

2.7.   Upon 100% utilized for each 250 minutes Free Call and within subscription validity, the Subscribers shall be charge back to the default call plan charging rate.

2.8.   The 250 minutes Free Call can only be utilised domestically i.e. within Malaysia only.

Tron reserves the sole and absolute right to cease, alter or suspend the provision of the 250 minutes Free Call at any time without prior notice based on its sole and absolute discretion. In view thereof and for the avoidance of doubt, such alteration, cancellation, termination or suspension by Tron does not entitle the Subscribers to any claims and/or compensation against Tron (whether in cash or in kind) for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Subscribers as a direct or indirect result of the act of alteration, cancellation, termination or suspension thereof.

By using this 250 minutes Free Call, the Subscribers acknowledge that they understand the terms and conditions herein and agree to abide by it at all times.

3.      Voice Call, SMS & MMS Usage

3.1.   Customers acknowledge that they have understand and agree on the rate table offered for Voice, SMS and MMS charges which stated on Tron’s website www.tron.com.my

3.2.   Tron 365 Voice, SMS and MMS charges are solely for domestic usage only and it is not valid for international or for Roaming usage outside of Malaysia.

3.3.   The Voice Call Charging Block for Tron 365 is 60sec/block. Tron have the absolute right to adjust the charging block at any time without prior notice or any liability to the Subscriber whatsoever.

4.      TRON INTERNET PACKAGES

4.1.   Internet usage refers to Subscriber’s access to the Internet via Tron’s LTE, 3G, EDGE and/or GPRS Network (whichever applicable).

4.2.   Tron does not guarantee or warrant the availability of the Internet usage and the Subscriber(s) acknowledges and agrees that the Internet usage is provided on an “as is” basis.

4.3.   The existing Tron Terms & Conditions shall apply and in the event of dispute over Mobile Internet matters, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

4.4.   Tron reserves the right to terminate, suspend or block a Customer’s usage of its services for any reason including but not limited for usage for the purpose of Voice Over Internet Protocol, and Messaging services.

4.5.   Tron reserves the right to revise, modify and/or change these terms and conditions at any time at Tron sole discretion without providing notice to Subscribers. Continued use of this service following any changes to these terms and conditions constitutes an acceptance to those changes (if any). Subscribers are advised to visit this page periodically to review the terms and conditions.

4.6.   Internet Package Subscription

4.6.1.  The terms and conditions herein govern the subscription of Mobile Internet plans for Tron Prepaid and the use of Mobile Internet.

4.6.2.  For the purposes herein, the following definitions shall be applicable:

Term Definition
Expiry Date Means the last day of the Subscription Period.
Renewal Date Means the date of renewal of the subscription for the Subscribers.
Subscriber(s) Means customers who subscribe to Internet Package subscription
Subscription Date Means the date of which the Customer subscribed to Internet Package subscription.
Subscription Fee Means the charges for the Internet Package subscription.
Subscription Period Means the validity of the subscription once subscribed or renewed thereafter.
Subscription Renewal Means the renewal of the Subscriber’s current subscription.
Termination Date Means the date of which the Subscriber terminates their Internet Package subscription.

4.6.3.  The Subscription Fee for Internet Packages shall be deducted from the Subscribers’ credit balance. However, Tron reserves the absolute right and discretion to revise the pricing of Tron Internet Packages for any reason whatsoever without the prior consent of the Subscribers. For avoidance of doubt, the Subscribers are not entitled to use the amount available in their FREE Talktime to off-set against their Subscription Fee.

4.6.4.  The Monthly RM49 (3GB) internet package are offered on promotional basis and Tron reserves the right to revise any product offer without any prior communication to and consent of Customers.

4.6.5.  The Subscription Period is stipulated as the time from which the Subscriber subscribes to Internet Packages OR have his/her subscription renewed until the earlier of the end of the day that is 11.59pm OR when the next renewal takes place. For the avoidance of doubt, renewal of Tron Internet Package subscription is scheduled at 12am. Nonetheless, due to common systems behaviour where processing (in this case Subscription Renewal) is sequential in nature, renewal for all Subscribers shall be in queue OR immediately after 12am if there is usage triggered by the Subscriber.

4.6.6.  Upon exceeding the usage quota and within subscription validity, the Subscribers shall not be able to access Internet, or will be throttled to lower speed for subsequent Internet usage, depending on the policy of the Internet subscription. Tron reserves its absolute right and discretion to apply the Fair Usage Policy if the Subscriber is suspected to have had abused the Internet usage in whatsoever way.

4.6.7.  The Subscription cannot be transferred to any other mobile number.

4.6.8.  The Subscription is valid for domestic Internet usage only.

4.6.9.  The Subscribers’ Subscriptions shall be renewed according to its validity. Tron will send an SMS notification upon successful renewal. However, Tron does not guarantee the timeliness of the subscription renewal and shall not bear responsibility for any damages incurred directly or indirectly due to a delayed or failed renewal within the stipulated renewal window as stated in this clause.

4.6.10.   Failure of renewal may be due to inter alia either insufficient credit in the Subscribers’ main credit balance OR the Subscribers are currently in suspended status due to validity. However, Tron shall not bear responsibility for any damages incurred directly or indirectly due to or consequences of failure to send out the sms notification within the stipulated renewal window as stated in this clause.

4.6.11.   In the event of a failed renewal due to insufficient credit or suspended status due to validity, Tron shall renew such subscription once the Subscribers had made the necessary top up or reload. Any internet usage during failed renewal will revert back to the default Pay-As-You-Use charging rate.

4.6.12.   Internet Package subscription is an auto-renewed subscription. THE SUBSCRIBERS MUST TERMINATE THEIR SUBSCRIPTION IF THEY WISH TO DISCONTINUE THEIR SUBSCRIPTION.

4.6.13.   The Subscribers can subscribe and unsubscribe to Internet Packages via Tron UMB channel (*129*3# and follow the instruction), Tron self-care account or call in to Tron Customer Service (by dialling 1300-800-188).

4.6.14.   In the event of early termination prior to the Expiry Date, the Subscribers’ shall immediately revert back to the default Pay-As-You-Use charging rate. In addition, the Subscribers shall not be refunded in any manner on the unused hours prior to the Expiry Date, even if the Subscriber subscribes again thereafter (no pro-rate of the Subscription Fee).

4.6.15.   If the Subscribers did not exceed the fair usage quota within their Subscription Period, the Subscribers are not allowed to carry forward the unused quota to the subsequent Subscription Period.

4.6.16.   Tron shall not be responsible in any way in the event that the Subscriber’s subscription was activated by a 3rd party without their consent. Tron shall not refund nor compensate the Subscriber in any manner whatsoever in such situations.

This service is provided on an as is basis and Tron does not guarantee or warrant that there shall be no problem, defect or is error free in the Internet access or usage provided by this subscription. Tron shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever for the loss incurred directly or indirectly for such failure or any problems associated to the network in any way whatsoever. Tron Internet Packages is optimised for Internet browsing on the mobile phone and it is not intended for peer-to-peer or file sharing applications. Tron reserves its absolute right and discretion to apply the Fair Usage Policy if the Subscriber is suspected to have had abused the Internet usage in whatsoever way including exceeding the base quota.

By subscribing to Tron Internet Packages, the Subscribers acknowledge that they understand the terms & conditions herein and agree to abide by it.

4.7.   Data Quota Top Up

4.7.1.  Purchase of Data Quota Top Up shall be deducted from the Subscribers’ credit balance.

4.7.2.  Quota Top Up allows you to purchase additional data on top of your purchased data plan if you wish to continue surfing even after you have exhausted your data quota before the end of your billing cycle.

4.7.3.  The entire unused quota will be forfeited upon un-subscription of the mobile data package or according to the specific expiry date at the point of purchase.

4.7.4.  All internet quota is applicable for domestic usage only. Data roaming charges shall be charged separately according to the data roaming charges.

5.      Family & Friends

5.1.   Each Subscriber can register up to Twelve (12), Tron numbers and Three (3) other network operator as subscribers’ Family and Friends list. The initial registration of the total Fifteen (15) numbers are of free of charge.

5.2.   The Subscriber may change their listed Family and Friends numbers at any time. Subscriber is entitle to have Five (5) complimentary changes, Four (4) Tron numbers and One (1) other operator number. Any for this subsequent change, the Subscriber will be charged RM2.00 for each change of their current listed Family and Friends number.

5.3.   At current offering:

5.4.   The offering rate plan can only be utilized domestically i.e. within Malaysia only.

5.5.   In the event the Subscriber changes his/her call plan, at Tron’s discretion, the listed Family and Friends numbers may be removed.

Tron reserves the sole and absolute rights to cease, alter or suspend the provision of Family and Friend rate charges anytime without prior notice based on its sole and absolute discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, such alteration, cancellation, termination or suspension by Tron does not entitle the Subscribers to any claim or compensation against Tron (in cash or in kind) for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Subscribers as a direct or indirect result of the act of alteration, cancellation, termination or suspension.

By using this Family and Friends, the Subscribers acknowledge that they understand the terms and conditions herein and agree to abide by it.

6.      Reload Validity

6.1.   Reload can be purchased through Tron online system, reload coupons, reload PIN (e.g. 7-11 PIN) and dealers.

6.2.   The date of credit validity will be effective upon the date of your reload. Your SIM Card validity will be extended to 365days on the date of successful reload.

6.3.   You will be notified via SMS on the amount reload and new credit validity period upon successful reload. All reload amount quoted is inclusive of 6% Service Tax.

6.4.   Tron will not be liable for any loss or damage due to reloading errors caused by the user of any type of reload.

6.5.   Tron reserves the right to forfeit any remaining talktime credit after the expiry of the respective validity periods.

6.6.   Reload coupons which have passed the expiry date imprinted on them will not be usable and/or returnable.

6.7.   Reloads are not refundable. Any value that has been reloaded is not transferable or refundable.

6.8.   Any reload performed using any of the alternate reload channels or via any other channel which may be added from time to time will be subjected to their own respective terms and conditions that are not governed by Tron.

7.      International Direct Dial (IDD)

7.1.   Customers acknowledge that they have understand and agree on the rate table offered for the IDD charges for each country stated at Tron’s website www.tron.com.my.

7.2.   IDD Call are solely for domestic usage only and it is not valid for international or for Roaming usage outside of Malaysia.

7.3.   The IDD Call Charging Block for Tron 365 is 30sec/block. Tron have the absolute right to adjust the charging block at any time without prior notice or any liability to the Subscriber whatsoever.

8.      Switch Plan

8.1.   To change to Tron Active Plan, the Customer is required to call 1-300-800-188 and follow the step-by-step instructions given by the customer service officer.

8.2. Subject to Tron’s approval, an existing Tron 365 Subscriber can change to new Tron Prepaid Active. The Subscriber is not allowed to move back to their old plan after such change.

8.3. Tron Active subscriber are restricted to change to Tron 365 Plan in any manner whatsoever in such situations.

8.4. In the event a Subscriber chooses to change his/her existing plan, any existing subscriptions, freebies, points and benefits shall be forfeited and a Subscriber is not entitled to any form of compensation for such forfeiture.

8.5. All other supervening terms and conditions stipulated on the General Tron will apply as amended from time to time and where applicable.

8.6. Tron shall not be responsible in any way in the event that the Subscriber’s subscription was activated by a third party without his/her consent. Tron shall not refund nor compensate the Subscriber in any manner whatsoever in such situations.

8.7. This service is provided on an “as is” basis and Tron does not guarantee or warrant that there shall be no problems, defects or errors in the usage provided by this subscription and/or its offers.

8.8. Tron shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever for the loss incurred directly or indirectly for such failure or any problems associated to the network in any way whatsoever.

8.9. By switching the plan, the Subscribers acknowledge that they understand the terms herein and conditions as well as the General Terms.

8.10. Tron reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions of this Tron Prepaid Active, including but not limited to any feature for this Tron Prepaid Active from time to time without prior notice as it deems fit. Continued use of this subscription and/or service following any changes to these terms and conditions constitutes an acceptance to those changes (if any).
